It has been a while since our kickstarter campaign…

We've been working hard to make music simpler and more accessible to everyone. Here’s a quick update on our recent progress.

So far, it has been quite an adventure! Reinventing the way people play music is definitely not an easy task - as you may imagine. Yet, we are still very motivated and up for the challenge. We actually made some significant achievements since our Kickstarter campaign. See for yourself.

For one thing, we prototyped a new keyboard. The Dodeka Stellar: a 37-key midi controller ideal for musicians always on the go. Before that, we released Dodeka Music: our free iPad app that allows you to learn to play a dozen of easy and popular piano songs. We also started the development of the Dodeka Music Library: an online library of Dodeka easy-to-read scores. The public beta version should be out in the coming weeks. On top, we started a collaboration with a professional pianist from Paris, France. And finally, we recently conducted a quick study on Dodeka music notation with the Lausanne Art School. (You can check the study's results out here).

So, as you can see, a lot has been going on.

As for the manufacturing of the Dodeka keyboard, our main and current objective is to bring either a manufacturing partner or an investor onboard. Over the past months, we met a few investors and manufacturers, and are currently in talks with one potential manufacturing partner. But, if you are or know of any investors (mainly angel) who might be interested in investing in our project, please reach out to us. We’d love the opportunity to chat with you. Additionally, we recently applied to a few grants and startups competitions in Switzerland. Hopefully this will lead to new opportunities, so as to start a pre-production series in the coming months and have some keyboards ready for you soon.

For now, keep patience. As we say, good things take time.

In any case, thanks for your continued support and don’t forget to subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated about our progress.
