Version 1.2 of Dodeka Music is now available (and some other news)

Posted on January 23, 2018

Over the week-end, we released update 1.2 of our iPad app: Dodeka Music. It's a rather minor update with mostly bug fixes and performance improvements from version 1.1. Particularly, we corrected the fact that the app wasn't playing sound on mute (which was quite annoying we reckon) and made several corrections and adjustments on some sheet music, as we noticed a few mistakes.

So, if you want to enjoy the latest version of our music app, update it now.

What's new in Dodeka Music 1.2?

  • the app now plays sound even if the device is muted;
  • corrections on some sheet music;
  • portugueses translation for Portugal localisation;
  • bug fixes and performance improvements.

That’s not the only news we’ve got for you.

Earlier this month, we also released the web version of Dodeka Music.

What is the difference with the iPad app, you may be wondering.

The web version is intended to work with smartphones, be it iPhones, Android or whatsoever devices you may have. In other words, Dodeka Music is no longer the privilege of those who owns an iPad. It is now for smartphones as well!

This means that if you didn’t get an iPad for Christmas (like us), you can still open our app on your smartphone and start to learn your first piano songs straightaway (in your mobile browser). No need to download anything. That’s the beauty of web app!

For now, there are only three easy songs in this version that you can play, as it is quite new. But there’s a new feature that you don’t have on the iPad version. The app now tells you if you make mistakes while playing the song. So, this way you have a direct feedback on what you are doing, and can easily improve, as well as learn to play music even faster! Cool, right?
